Another gem garnered by Westchester County is the 1883 Lighthouse at Sleepy Hollow. It is located on the Hudson River and has experienced a near-perfect record of performance for 78 years.
If you are a castle aficionado, read on. The splendid Castle on the Hudson is yours for the viewing in Westchester County. Construction on this beauty began in 1897 and was completed in 1910. It is currently an upscale hotel - imagine staying there! You will also find the Glenview Mansion at the Hudson River Museum, Leland Castle at Leland College, the Reid Castle at Manhattanville College, the Whitby Castle, and Wainwright House.
The choices for dining are exceptional in Westchester County as every taste and every budget are accommodated. Nightlife includes the availability of several pubs, clubs, and dancing venues.
