Home to Las Vegas and the world famous Strip, Clark County is one of the United States' busiest tourist destinations. With over 150,000 hotel rooms, the County accommodates tens of millions of visitors each year. Obviously, the most notable feature of Clark County is Las Vegas itself, with its 24-hour, non-stop entertainment. Sprawling casinos, hotels that double as architectural wonders, glitzy shows, and even amusement park rides on top of skyscrapers are all part of the Vegas scenery that is nothing less than extraordinary. In this city, sensory overload reigns alongside hedonism, but if you've come here, that's probably what you're looking for. Whether you choose to spend your time gambling like a high roller, taking in one of the many eye-popping shows, or dining to your heart's content, Las Vegas is one unforgettable city.

However, there's more to Clark County than bustling Las Vegas. Another huge draw for the County is the Hoover Dam, which was constructed on the Colorado River in the 1930s. While the dam itself is often visited and toured, the resulting Lake Mead is also a popular destination for locals and visitors, where boating, fishing, swimming and skiing are often done. Sunset Park in the Las Vegas Valley is also a busy place, and groups often host events and other activities here. A lake and a dog park are included in the area, and there is also a fairground where events such as the "Ren Fair" take place. During this annual event, participants put on their finest Renaissance clothing and transform the place into a medieval marvel.
